Master Mind Prayer Works!

Wonderful news - Susan Osthoff has been released! A big thank you to my Mastermind partners and to all of you who have prayed and masterminded on behalf of the hostages.

Four to go...

Please keep praying. Also, thanks to Janet for the original and simpler master minding declarations taught by Unity Minister Jack Bolen.

As a reminder, a group must be at least two people.

Speak the first six declarations together. Then, one at a time, each person takes a turn stating his or her request.

After a request has been made, each of the remaining members affirms that the request has been heard and is being manifested. When everyone in the group has affirmed this, go on to the next person and his/her request.

This is powerful prayer that works for the highest and best good of all.

I surrender:

I admit that, of myself, I am powerless to solve my problems, powerless to improve my life. I need help.

I believe:

I come to believe that a power greater than myself - the Master Mind - can change my life.

I am ready to be changed:

I realize that erroneous self-defeating thinking is the cause of my problems, unhappiness, fears and failures. I am ready to have my beliefs and attitudes changed so my life can be transformed.

I decide to be changed:

I make a decision to surrender my will and my life to the Master Mind. I ask to be changed at depth.

I forgive:

I forgive myself for all my mistakes and shortcomings. I also forgive all other persons who may have harmed me.

I ask:

I make known my specific requests, asking my partners' support in knowing that the Master Mind is fulfilling my needs.

(request is to be stated in the form of an affirmation stated in the present tense)

Response by Master Mind group members is:

The Master Mind has heard your request and is already granting it and fulfilling your needs.

I give thanks:

I give thanks that the Master Mind is responding to my needs, and I assume the same feelings I would have if my requests were already fulfilled.

I dedicate my life:
I now have a covenant in which it is agreed that the Master Mind is supplying me with an abundance of all things necessary to live a success filled and happy life.

I dedicate myself to be of maximum service to God and those around me; to live in a manner that sets the highest example for others to follow; and to remain responsive to God's guidance.

I go forth with a spirit of enthusiasm, excitement and expectancy. I am at peace.

And so it is.

Amen.

Feeling God's Love

Christmas evokes many emotions for us. It creates so many expectations and reminds us, inevitably, of our losses. As a result, Christmas can find you arguing with the ones you care about most. If this happens to you, see if you can just stop the next annoyed words from coming out of your mouth. Instead, say: I love you.

All you or I or our loved ones want is assurance we are loved. We don’t have to be perfect – whatever that is – all we have to do is BE.

So give this gift to those around you.

We are all in this world together. If you have a chance to open a door for someone, smile or show kindness, please risk it. You will make the world a better place as a result. It is the beauty within you that is needed far more than what you can buy.

If you find you feel too glum or besieged to be able to dig deep inside yourself for that love, then take time for a little self care.

Go now, right now, into a quiet room. If you’re cold, throw a blanket over yourself. Make yourself comfortable. Sit in a chair with your feet on the floor, put your hands, palms down, on your thighs and just breathe.

Think about how it might change your life if you could actually feel the love God has for you.

Then take three slow breaths and close your eyes.

Focus your attention on your heart and just send love to our Source and Creator.

You don’t have to feel it. Your intention is enough.

If other thoughts intrude, just replace any thought with: I love you, God.

Just breathe and relax. And know there is nothing more important you could possibly be doing than this.

When we are stressed, when we feel unappreciated, it is very hard to feel love for others.

When we feel love from others, our own love blossoms.

By sending love to God you will strengthen your conscious connection.

Sit like this for just five minutes, although you can sit longer if you are enjoying it (I do) and just take time to connect.

Do this every day and, over time, you will become more aware of that amazing Presence that is always with us.

Ask God for that grace which will allow you to feel the great unconditional love that is felt for you.

These are just words now, but when you feel the sweetness of that love, when you really get that God sees you as perfect, it is very freeing. And it allows you to begin to glimpse others in this same way.

Christmastime is so busy. But take time for love. Take time to feel God’s love for you and your love for yourself. You deserve it.

Please continue to affirm and visualize that James Loney, Harmeet Singh Sooden, Tom Fox, Norman Kember, Susanne Osthoff and her driver are all freed and safe.

Love,
Clyo

Pray & Mastermind For Hostages' Release

There is a form of prayer called Masterminding. Jack Bolen, a Unity minister, gave us this method decades ago and one used to be able to join a Masterminding prayer group and learn the method for free.

Today, because of the power of Masterminding, the ideas have become a commodity and there are costly workshops these days with people teaching their versions of Jack's method. Most of them include a lot of verbiage about why Masterminding works but, in my experience, the workshops are designed to convince people why it works, not practice the actual method, the actual process.

You can use Masterminding for anything you desire, but today, dear friends, I am going to give this process to you with the request that you to use it on behalf of the six people most recently abducted and held hostage in Iraq.

I ask you - no, I beg you - to join with at least one other person and pray, together in this way, for the release of Christian Peace Teams members James Loney, Harmeet Singh Sooden, Tom Fox, Norman Kember and humanitarian/architect Susanne Osthoff and her driver.

There is no higher priority. If it was your child, your husband, your wife, your brother or sister or mother or deeply loved friend, you would do nothing but pray until they were released.

I ask you to pray using the Mastermind method, for these good people. I will not tell you how or why Masterminding works. We have no time for arguments or debates. We only have time for faith. So I ask you to go on faith and trust me that, from personal experience, I know it works miracles, because it is an extremely powerful way of connecting with God.

The more people, the more groups we have praying in this way for these people, the better, for we have been told "where two or more are gathered" God is there, ready to work miracles.

Speak the following 6 declarations in unison. Each person states their request, which in this case I will give you the affirmation for those we want released. Then each person affirms, in turn, to the one who has made the request, that he or she knows the request has been heard and granted.

I give you, a Masterminding prayer for the release of the hostages in Iraq:

Together: I surrender to the power of God, the Mastermind, and acknowledge that I, of myself, can do nothing.

Together: I believe in the power of God, the Mastermind, and in the exponential power of group consciousness to connect with God and create miracles.

Together: I choose to give myself over to God, the Mastermind, for the purposes of love, peace and healing.

Together: I am grateful to God, the Mastermind, and the group for responding to my request.

Together: I commit to following the guidance and wisdom of God, the Mastermind, and accept that the intelligence and wisdom of our connected consciousness is greater than my own alone.

Together: I respect and honor being part of this group and know each of us is a vital link in God's plan for healing.

Individually (take turns): I ask God, the Mastermind who resides within everyone and everything, to reach into the hearts of those who hold James Loney, Harmeet Singh Sooden, Tom Fox, Norman Kember and Susanne Osthoff, and her driver, captive. I affirm that God fills their hearts with love and compassion. I affirm that God opens their eyes to the goodness of these six people. I affirm that the goodness and shared humanity they see causes them to release these six people. I affirm that James Loney, Harmeet Singh Sooden, Tom Fox, Norman Kember, Susanne Osthoff and her driver are released, unharmed and that they, their families and friends have cause for great rejoicing. And so it is. Amen.

Individually (respond to the requester, addressing the person by name): ______, I know God, the Mastermind, has heard your request and is granting it now. James Loney, Harmeet Singh Sooden, Tom Fox, Norman Kember, Susanne Osthoff and her driver are all freed and safe. And we give great thanks for this. Praise God.

Together: I dedicate myself and my life to be of the greatest service possible to God and my fellow human beings. I dedicate myself to the principles of love and service. I live my life as an example for others to follow and go forward with a spirit of enthusiasm, excitement, joy and success. My life is fulfilled as I move forward with an inherent faith in God and belief that anything is possible and miracles do occur.

Amen.

If two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven. Matthew 18:19

Where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them. Matthew 18:20

Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you. Matthew 7:7

Therefore, I say unto you, What things so ever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them. Mark 11:24
